You could share in the benefits provided to members of Arthritis SA by taking out one of our inexpensive membership options or renewing your membership.

As a member of Arthritis SA you will get special treatment. You are welcome to attend Arthritis SA courses and seminars for free. You can join any of our support groups at no charge. You will also get quick access to Arthritis SA Health Educators, who can provide the latest information about arthritis and managing with the condition.

Membership also offers other rewards, such as the satisfaction of knowing that the organisation you support is advocating for the interests of you and others with arthritis at the highest levels of government.

Finally, Membership provides you with an opportunity to influence Arthritis SA’s activities. You may attend and vote at the Annual General Meeting if you wish. You may also make yourself available for election to the foundation’s Board of Directors.

Membership fees for Pensioners and other Concession Card Holders is $25 per year. This rate has remained unchanged for several years. Standard Membership is $40 a year.

A Professional Membership category, with benefits tailored specifically to the needs of health professionals, is also available.  The annual fee is $100.  Professional members receive discounts on professional development activities, are listed as members – unless requested otherwise – on Arthritis SA’s website and in some other communication activities, and have opportunities to network with Members, Pensioner Members and other Professional Members.

To be eligible for Professional Membership, applicants need to hold a qualification, or have attained a level of experience, recognised by the foundation for the purposes of medical, scientific, or another field associated with the treatment or care of people who suffer from arthritis, rheumatic diseases, or musculoskeletal diseases or conditions.
